Sarah Rangel is a ceramicist and printmaker residing in San Antonio, Texas. She received her BA in Art from St. Edward's University in December 2011 and has been creating ever since. Sarah's work is an on-going process of examining forms and their relationship to objects. Sarah's sculptures and prints are bridged by her on-going narrative of the Battle of Spheres over the Garden of Shapes, developing with underlying themes of good vs evil, light vs dark, and death vs rebirth. Sarah has recently begun to assign functional roles to her ceramics using the addition and repetition of simple shapes to make a whole vessel.
